Glands that incorporate a seal with an uncompressed height of less than 20mm shall not be used with EEX d IIC apparatus that has a volume in excess of 2000cc. If mounted in flame proof enclosures, make sure that at least threads are engaged and that the depth of engagement of enclosures smaller than 100
cm3 are at least 5mm and for enclosures larger than 100
cm3 at least 8mm.
